Richard Emanuel Kos is a highly experienced professional in finance, insurance and business consulting. In recent years his focus has been on developing new construction and selling existing real estate. He was born in Laren, the Netherlands and has lived in Willemstad, Curacao for almost 20 years. Richard has Dutch nationality, is married and has 2 children.

He also currently owns KosTaBon Pensions and Mortgages BV, a company he started in 2008. In addition, he has been involved with KTB Life, a life insurance company that was sold to a large insurance company in 2022, since 2016.

Before his journey as an entrepreneur, Richard worked at Inter-Assure and Aegon, where he provided financial advice, specializing in pension and insurance products.

In addition to his achievements in finance and insurance, Richard has made great strides in real estate development. He recently took on another project such as Catharina Gardens, where 21 homes are being built.

He is also involved in Hòfi St. Joris, a project that focuses on the development of approximately 10 land parcels, contributing to the expansion of the housing market and local infrastructure. The Punda Heritage project, the renovation of a building in our world heritage city of Willemstad, is an example of his commitment to preserving cultural element by transforming heritage properties into modern apartments.

Besides his work, Richards' hobbies are sports, especially triathlons (he has completed two Ironman races), reading and cooking.
